Day 41 was an explore day. We did about 330 (est.) miles today exploring different areas. We spent a little more time stopping at pull offs and checking the scenery. On the wildlife front, we saw a black bear. It is difficult to video them as they seem to be afraid of the motorcycle and often run away into the woods, while they will just mill around when a car pulls over. Personally I think it is Rene' that scares them, but that is just me.
We also put a down payment on a new puppy. They were born yesterday and we will get her on Aug 17th. Since we were the first to put down a deposit so we get to pick first in about 5 weeks. So overall a good day. Tomorrow we will go to Lake Maligne for a boat trip to Spirit Island. After that we head to Banff for three nights, then back to the US.
In the video I think you can see the movement and hear the wind as we road RT11. The winds were pretty heavy on the southern part of our ride today.
