Day 37 we went to Medicine Lake and Maligne Lake to see what we can see wildlife wise and landscape. The weather was great and the ride was too. We got a late start because we had to wait for a room to be cleaned so we could move into this new room. The original room was near the pool and the kids were running up and down the hallway. The door also did not lock properly, so Rene' requested a room change. The Jasper area is also an hour ride away from where we are staying. That was my error, but also we are saving about $200.00 a night.
We saw a lot of roadside wildlife. Elk, grizzly, black bear, deer, and an eagles nest. When we went to Jasper in 2014 this eagles nest was there, and someone said it has been there for 20 years. The nest has two fledglings which is a little rare. We waited for four hours for an adult to return to the nest, and it did not happen so we headed down to Maligne Lake from the nest at Medicine Lake. On our way back the adult was there so we stopped for a little while to see if one of the adults will fly to the nest. Did not happen.
Almost ready for take off.
